ABOUT JAKE

Jake Babineau is a multidisciplinary creative whose work bridges the worlds of music, film, and audio engineering. Originally from Massachusetts and now based in Chicago, Jake began his artistic journey at just ten years old when he picked up a guitar and an audio interface—an early spark that evolved into a deep expertise in sound engineering, production, and ultimately, photography and cinematography.

With a rare blend of technical mastery and artistic intuition, Jake has delivered work for industry-leading organizations such as Biotech, Moderna, NASA, Khan Academy while working at the Museum of Science in Boston, earning a reputation for precision, reliability, and creative excellence. His ability to capture authentic moments, craft compelling visuals, and elevate brand narratives has made him a trusted creative partner across multiple industries.

Jake’s portfolio spans an impressive roster of artists and performers, including Bad Boy Bill, Flipside, Terry Hunter, Metro, LG, and Reign, and his lens has shaped the atmosphere of some of Chicago’s most iconic venues—Hard Rock Cafe, Drink Nightclub, The Loft Chicago, Anita Dee Yachts, Joy District, Congress Plaza, Sound-Bar, Prysm, Fame, and more.
